17吃瓜 was ranked No. 10 nationally among community colleges for short-term study abroad opportunities by . And 17吃瓜’s 50 students who traveled in 2022 made it first among community colleges in the nation as a percentage of enrollment, with nearly 2 percent of students taking part in a study abroad experience.

Student Study Abroad Manual

17吃瓜 recommends that students read the manual before traveling.

Funding for opportunities can be accessed in several ways. The Global Opportunities Fund has scholarships available to 17吃瓜 students and faculty. The fund was started by former 17吃瓜 President Tim Nelson and his wife, Nancy Johnson, to celebrate 17吃瓜's sixtieth anniversary and support international learning and engagement.
