MeLCat Users Say:
"I use MeLCat during the summers when I'm developing new curriculum and assignments for freshman composition classes and also for researching my own writing topics. I find it a highly valuable resource especially since we are in a more rural, remote location. Cutting this service would be a blow to the professional development and personal growth of patrons throughout our region."
–Judy C., 17³Ô¹Ï Faculty
"Interlibrary loan is one of the modern wonders of the world. It is incredibly efficient–instead of every library striving to have every resource, libraries can economize by sharing their resources. Particularly for folks like myself who have niche interests, I know I can get pretty much any book in the world through interlibrary loan. Losing MeLCat would be a tremendous loss, and terribly short-sighted. People of all ages, persuasions, and political backgrounds gain tremendous value from this program."
–Kyle F., 17³Ô¹Ï Staff
"MeLCat is a wonderful resource for students, community members, and lifelong learners who live in rural areas with smaller libraries. I have used MeLCat as a student and as a community member and hope that the funding for this worthwhile resource continues."
