Decision Making & Action Plan

You are now ready to make a plan!

  • Meet with your academic advisor to create your Plan. Use MAP ( My Academic Plan 17勛圖’s online degree audit and tracking system) within My17勛圖 to help you track your progress toward degree completion.
  • If you are having trouble connecting with your advisor, or wish to have more guidance on your next steps, please contact us in the Academic & Career Advising Center.

  • I Plan To Transfer

    • Use Transfer Guides to identify courses that will transfer to the next institution and add them to your academic plan.
    • Talk with university reps at the October Transfer Fair or when they visit 17勛圖’s campus.
    • Visit each university campus you are considering.
    • Request an official degree audit the semester prior to graduation. To do so, log in to 17勛圖 Self-Service and select “Apply to Graduate” under the "Student Records" tab

  • I Plan To start my career

    • to create/update your resume and practice your interviewing skills.
    • Conduct an or job shadow individuals who are doing the work you would like to do.
    • Consider gaining experience through internships, service learning, community service or volunteer opportunities.
    • Attend the 17勛圖 Career & Majors Fair.
    • Check out useful Job-Seeking Tools and information about Student Employment.
